Paying a ticket is an admission of guilt and can lead to demerit points, higher insurance rates, and a permanent mark on your driving record. Fighting a ticket gives you the opportunity to have it reduced or dismissed, often avoiding long-term consequences that cost far more than the fine itself.
We defend a wide range of traffic offences, including speeding, distracted driving, red-light violations, careless driving, stop sign tickets, and other moving violations. If you’re unsure whether your ticket qualifies, we offer free consultations to review your case.
In most cases, no. We can handle the court process on your behalf, including filings and appearances, saving you time and stress. If your presence is ever required, we will inform you well in advance and guide you through the process.
No one can guarantee results, but we fight for the best possible outcome. Every case is different, but many tickets can be reduced or dismissed due to procedural errors, insufficient evidence, or negotiation with the Manitoba Justice. Our experience allows us to identify the strongest defence strategy for your specific situation.
Most traffic tickets have a strict deadline for responding, usually 15 to 30 days from the date the ticket was issued, depending on the jurisdiction. This deadline is listed on the ticket itself. There will be two dates written on the front of the traffic ticket, the first response date, and the last response date. If you miss the deadline, you may be found guilty by default, which can result in fines, demerit points, license suspension, or additional penalties. To protect your rights, it’s important to act as soon as possible after receiving a ticket.
